Leodis Academies Trust is a successful Multi Academy Trust with five schools in the South Leeds area, serving the Ardsley and Tingley communities. As part of the ongoing development of the Leodis Support Service, we have an outstanding opportunity for a Family Support Worker to join the team and play a key role across the Trust.
The successful candidate will work with students and families to improve outcomes for young people aged 2-19 across the Multi-Academy Trust. Work will focus on providing advice, guidance and strategies to support with overcoming difficulties in family and peer relationships, behaviour issues, home environment and education by providing Early Help.
The post is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience of working with young people and families in an educational, youth work or social care setting. The ideal candidate will be able to confidently act as a Child Protection Officer supporting students within Leodis Academies Trust and as a Lead Professional as part of the Early Help Process.
Candidates must have a willingness to work flexibly (including occasional evening work) and hold a full driving licence.
The post offers challenge, reward and role development for the right candidate. The role is based at Woodkirk Academy and travel to all schools in the Trust will be required.
