Starting salary £11,175.60 (£9.00 per hour) pay award pending

Leodis Academies Trust is a successful Multi Academy Trust with five schools in the South Leeds area. As part of our continued growth we have an immediate opportunity for an enthusiastic Supervisor / Cook to join the team at Blackgates Primary Academy.

Blackgates Primary is proud to be an inclusive school providing a high quality, creative and challenging education within a secure, caring and happy environment. It is our aim for every child to experience a sense of enjoyment and pupils are helped to achieve their very best through a broad and balanced curriculum.

Applicants should have experience of working in a busy kitchen environment, be able to cook with minimum supervision and must hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification. A relevant catering qualification (or equivalent) is preferred along with experience of leading a team.

The role includes a variety of duties required to lead a team in delivering a quality food service for pupils, staff and visitors on a daily basis.
